[News] Titanfall: Cheaters

So Titanfall was released in early March and already there’s people cheating. However the Titanfall devs have developed a very nice anti-cheat system that is very well done and the best part is: it segregates cheaters from non-cheaters. As soon as you’re caught cheating which, I’ll be honest here, would be very, very quick, most likely within the hour of you cheating, they place you in servers to play against other cheaters in the game.

This makes aimbots absolutely useless and a waste of money for Titanfall, so don’t even think about trying.

Respawn Entertainment, the developers of Titanfall who split off from Infinity Ward during the development of one of the Call of Duty games, said in essence that again, aimbots are useless and you better hope the aimbot you paid for is the best or you’re gonna have a hard time in these cheater matches!

Basically instead of ‘banning’ people from the game and having them be unable to play it, they put people into servers with all cheaters. They can play, but it won’t be fun for anyone.

Titanfall was released on March 11, 2014 and is to be available on Xbox One on April 8, 2014. It doesn’t look like it will be coming to PS3/PS4 anytime soon due to the fact that Microsoft wants to attempt to keep this exclusive to the Xbox 360 / Xbox One.
